In case anyone is still looking at this--we are starting our new Bible study, If God is in Control, Why Do I Have a Headache? this Wednesday (1/20). We will meet at 6:30 at Denise Loftin's house. Hope to see you all there!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I have much to be thankful for: health, family, friends, a job, a home, etc. I am also thankful this year for each of you. Thanks for understanding and listening without judging. Thanks for praying faithfully. Thanks for kind words, hugs, and encouragement. You are all wonderful women. Never doubt it for a moment. I'm so blessed to know each one of you.


I'll see you all at the restaurant the Wednesday after Thanksgiving.

Hey ladies,

We have a winner...dinner at a restaurant and dessert afterward at Kathryn's.

Somebody (not me) needs to volunteer to choose a date, a time, a place (and get it booked), and let us all know. Remember, the holidays are upon us, so you'll need to move quickly.

What I'm Thinking

It's 5:33 in the morning. I've been up for about two hours. I've been searching for new Bible Studies for us to consider.

Here are some that piqued my interest:

Knowing God by Name
Living God's Word
If God is in Control, Why Do I Have a Headache?
Bad Girls of the Bible, and
Really Bad Girls of the Bible


My other thought was, since we're approaching this differently, we might consider a book study vs. a Bible study. Here are some books that looked interesting:
